Meet the Fall 2026 Interns

Allysun Lund is a recent graduate of the University of Utah, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. Her studies sparked a deep interest in memory institutions that preserve and provide access to historical and cultural records. This fall, Allysun is working with the Archival Services team to accession records, giving her the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the preservation, organization, and stewardship of historical records.

Tyler Stevens is an MLIS graduate student at San José State University and plans to graduate in April 2027. After a seven-year career in custodial management, Tyler is pursuing a new career in archives and records management. He is interested in storytelling and discovering forgotten histories within archival records, interests that have also shaped his graduate studies. His coursework has included exploring the recent impacts of generative AI, its potential applications in archives and records management, and the ethical questions surrounding its development. This fall, Tyler is gaining hands-on experience through a records review project.

Kristin Andrews is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Digital Public Humanities at George Mason University and plans to continue with a master’s degree in history with an emphasis in public history. She is passionate about helping people connect with the records and information they need. As a Reference intern, Kristin will work with the Reference team to assist patrons with questions and record requests while deepening her knowledge of the Archives’ collections.

Brooklynn Allen is pursuing a Master of Library Science at Emporia State University after earning a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boise State University. She is passionate about historical research and working with artifacts to make history accessible to everyone. As an accessioning intern, Brooklynn will gain hands-on experience with archival processes at the state level and build on her existing archival skills.
