419th OG Welcomes New Commander to Guide F-35 Combat Readiness

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — Lieutenant Colonel Joslon Martin assumed command of the 419th Operations Group during a ceremony here on September 11, 2026. Colonel Bradley Klemesrud, 419th Fighter Wing commander, presided over the event, which marked the symbolic transfer of leadership to the incoming commander.

Lieutenant Colonel Martin commissioned into the Air Force in 2006 upon graduating from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Commander of Detachment 15, Air Combat Command Training Support Squadron.

As commander of the 419th Operations Group, he will oversee the 466th Fighter Squadron and the 419th Operations Support Squadron, leading the group's operational readiness and mission execution for future combat requirements.
